To all Clients & Guests, In these uncertain times, I wanted to reach out to you personally about what we are doing here at Mavris Arts & Event Center to support you, your guests and the community. Mavris promises to be yet another excellent opportunity to gather, learn, share, and celebrate, but we need to ensure that we support our community and each other by taking sensible and appropriate action to make our time together successful. As the situation around coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, we are doing everything we can to ensure your comfort, safety and flexible options. As it has always been, the safety and security of our guests and team members remains our highest priority. We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our space on a daily basis. In response to COVID-19, we have taken additional measures to make our cleaning and hygiene protocols even more rigorous: • We have a strong, structured cleaning regimen each day with an EPA approved disinfectant. • We have a sanitation team that comes before and after events for a thorough sanitation of the building. • We have increased the frequency of cleaning our main areas (including our elevators, door handles, bathrooms, etc.) and have continued the use of disinfectant. • We are enhancing our cleaning procedures each day, including tables, chairs, and our existing AV Equipment. • We are provisioning alcohol-based hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes for all. • We are providing hygiene materials such as tissues and masks. Food and Beverage In food and beverage management, we have the highest standards and certifications such as but not limited to; Serve Safe Food Handlers Certifications. We have reduced the current capacity of our event space and we have applied safe distance practices for all guests. Special Events We will help customize your event and help share ideas on how to make your event magical while also taking precautions for the safety of everyone. The Cyrus Place is a wedding, events and performing arts venue located in the Historic Core of Downtown Indianapolis. Originally, the church itself was built in 1883 by German born architect D.A. Bohlen. The Cyrus Place has been beautifully transformed into a stunning full service event facility with talented event management staff. With the Main Hall and Grand Hall, the versatility of The Cyrus Place is endless, offering a beautiful customizable backdrop for events of any style, including entertainment, corporate, non-profit, wedding, and performing arts.

Canal 337, A Thomas Caterers Venue, is located at the head of the Central Canal downtown. CANAL 337 is an industrial, rustic-chic venue perfect for any style of event. The venue consists of two unique floors with amazing skyline views of downtown Indy and outdoor space on each floor. Perfect for wedding receptions, wedding ceremonies, corporate events or any special event. Thomas Caterers of Distinction opened Canal 337 (Pronounced Canal three thirty-seven), at the Historic Buggs Temple. Their goal for this Thomas Caterers Venue was to bring to Indianapolis an events venue like nothing else in the city of Indianapolis. After knowing in their hearts that another venue was in store for their growing family they were fortunate to have people around them to bring the historic Buggs Temple to their attention. When this amazing opportunity became available they knew they had found the newest family member. “Our vision is to bring the Indianapolis area venues like no other in town. Special places where life long memories are made while you and your guest are surrounded by something special.” Searching high and low for a venue that would complement and not compete against D’Amore Events and The Scottish Rite Cathedral, Vince and Kelly Early knew that the outdoor water space that Buggs Temple would deliver to the Indianapolis events community was the third jewel to the family crown.

Ritz Charles had a very successful night at the Indiana International Live Events Association (ILEA) Pace awards on April 18, 2019. The Indiana Chapter PACE Awards is a highly recognized awards competition that honors the exceptional professional achievements of individuals and organizations from across the Chapter, representing all facets of the events industry. For years, the PACE Awards have attracted an exceptional range and quality of entries. Ritz Charles was proud to bring home the highest number of awards of any caterer in Indiana. Our Design Team were the proud recipients of awards in the following categories: Best Event with Legacy, Best Catered event over $10,000 and Best Use of Space for a Catered Event.
